Preview: Edmonds-Woodway Warriors vs. Ingraham Rams

The Edmonds-Woodway Warriors will play host again and welcome the Ingraham Rams, where tip off is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Edmonds-Woodway knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully Ingraham likes a good challenge.

Edmonds-Woodway scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They put the hurt on Kentlake with a sharp 76-54 win. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Edmonds-Woodway has managed all season.

Edmonds-Woodway found their leader in underclassman Dj Karl, who scored 18 points along with five steals. The contest was Karl's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of William Alseth, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.

Ingraham has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were outmatched by Glacier Peak on the road and fell 73-45. While losing is never fun, Ingraham can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while Glacier Peak is ranked 20th).

Edmonds-Woodway is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. As for Ingraham, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Edmonds-Woodway didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Ingraham when the teams last played back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 56-51 victory. Will Edmonds-Woodway repeat their success, or does Ingraham have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
