Recap: Union County Panthers vs. Fellowship Christian Paladins
The Fellowship Christian Paladins typically have all the answers at home, but on Tuesday the Union County Panthers proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 60-48 win over the Paladins. The victory was familiar territory for Union County who now have three in a row.
Despite the loss, Fellowship Christian still got an impressive performance from Alden Hays, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ella Upchurch, who scored five points along with nine rebounds and five assists.
Union County is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for Fellowship Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.
Union County is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Athens Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. As for Fellowship Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-36 loss vs. Providence Christian Academy on the 9th.
