Baseball Recap: Patrick Henry Comes Up Short

The Patrick Henry Patriots lost 14-1 to the Glenvar Highlanders on Wednesday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Patrick Henry saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Stokes, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Patrick Henry's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Glenvar, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patrick Henry will face off against Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Glenvar, they will take on Patrick County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
