Preview: Walthill vs. Sterling
Walthill will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Sterling at 2:30 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Walthill had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Dorchester 73-0. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 54-0.
Meanwhile, Sterling took care of business in their home opener. They steamrollered St. Edward 65-6. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-6.
Their wins bumped Sterling to 1-0 and Walthill to 1-0. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
