Basketball Recap: Stigler Takes a Loss

Stigler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the Talihina Golden Tigers. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Tigers earlier this season, when they won 58-33.

Stigler's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Talihina, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Stigler has already played their next game (against Hartshorne), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Talihina will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wilburton at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th.
