Basketball Recap: Anaconda Takes a Loss

Anaconda was the 60-49 winner over St. Ignatius when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Anaconda Copperheads fell 59-50 to the St. Ignatius Bulldogs on Friday.

Anaconda's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for St. Ignatius, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Anaconda didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-14 defeat against Florence-Carlton on the 1st. St. Ignatius has also already played their next game (against Troy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
