Baseball Recap: Fall River Bulldogs vs. Anderson Cubs
Fall River had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Anderson Cubs on Friday as the Fall River Bulldogs made off with a 13-2 win. The Bulldogs not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 16, 2024.
Hunter Parker made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Parker was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Rhett Overton was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double. Berrick Earnest was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
