Basketball Game Preview: Glenburn Panther vs. Velva Aggies

The Glenburn Panther will challenge the Velva Aggies at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Glenburn came up short against Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood and fell 56-48. The Panther have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Velva was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They took a 44-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bishop Ryan.

Velva's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Glenburn, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Glenburn came up short against Velva when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 62-58. Can Glenburn avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
