Basketball Recap: Wessington Springs Comes Up Short

Wessington Springs lost against Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wessington Springs Spartans took a hard 78-62 fall against the Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central Blackhawks. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wessington Springs' loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Wessington Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 78-62 defeat against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on the 30th. As for Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central, they will face off against Ethan on Tuesday.
