Football Game Recap: Barlow vs. Summit

Barlow made easy work of Summit on Friday and carried off a 40-13 win. Barlow were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

The game started off well for Barlow, whose offense put up 20 first-half points. Summit came up with 7 to make it 20-7 heading into the break. The Barlow defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 6 and all but finishing the matchup. The win got Barlow back to even at 2-2. The loss dropped Summit's record to 1-3.

Next week Barlow take on Grant at 5:00 PM. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games. Summit will be staying on the road, facing off against Mountain View. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend.
