Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Coral Glades

Coral Glades waltzed into their game on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with an 85-74 win over the Northeast Hurricanes. That's two games straight that the Jaguars have won by exactly 11 points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Coral Glades to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andres Demoya, who went 5 of 10 en route to 16 points along with six boards and four steals. That's the most steals Demoya has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Anthony Valdes, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 19 points and five rebounds.

Coral Glades is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points per game. As for Northeast, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Coral Glades has already played their next contest, an 86-84 defeat against Chaminade-Madonna on the 15th. As for Northeast, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 70-39 loss against Coral Springs on the 15th.
