Tullahoma is a perfect 3-0 against Huntland since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Tullahoma Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Huntland Hornets at 5:30 p.m. Tullahoma is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Tullahoma proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Battle Ground Academy 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Tullahoma has posted since May 10, 2024.

Miaha Johnson was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Madison Goad, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Tullahoma hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most three strikeouts in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Huntland beat Cornersville 13-9 on Thursday.

Tullahoma's record now sits at 3-5. As for Huntland, their record is now 1-0.

Everything went Tullahoma's way against Huntland in their previous meeting back in April of 2018, as Tullahoma made off with a 13-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tullahoma since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
