Basketball Recap: Mount Si Takes a Loss

Mount Si lost against Woodinville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mount Si Wildcats received a blow as they fell 66-48 to the Woodinville Falcons.

Woodinville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Hailey Quiggle out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Jazlyn Wilkerson, who went 9 of 14 on her way to 21 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

Mount Si's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Woodinville, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Mount Si has already played their next game, a 73-39 victory against Hazen on the 16th. As for Woodinville, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Woodinville Falcons face off against the Issaquah Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Issaquah will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Woodinville surely won't give up without a fight.
