Piute had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They blew past the Monticello Buckaroo 63-41. The Thunderbirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 22 points or more this season.

Piute's record now sits at 7-2. As for Monticello, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Piute will be home for the holidays to greet Kanab at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monticello, they will head out to challenge Dove Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
