If Mount Olive was feeling good fresh off their 18-9 takedown of Jefferson Davis County on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pirates lost 14-2 to the Perry Central Bulldogs on Saturday.

Mount Olive dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Perry Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-11.

Mount Olive does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Perry Central, they will square off against St. Patrick at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
