Krum came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Whitesboro Bearcats by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Thursday.

Lyla Elkington paced Krum's offense, picking up nine kills. Elkington got some help from Molly Ward and her 12 assists.

Krum's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Whitesboro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Krum will face off against Lake Dallas at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Whitesboro, they will take on Gunter in a tournament on Tuesday.
