Timberlake is a perfect 10-0 against Bonners Ferry since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Badgers at 3:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Wednesday, Timberlake made easy work of Orofino and carried off a 12-1 win. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Maniacs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Shae Jones was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Marissa Needs, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Sadie Green also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Timberlake hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Orofino struck out 12 times.
Meanwhile, Bonners Ferry got the win against Priest River on Wednesday by a conclusive 17-8. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Badgers.
Like Timberlake, Bonners Ferry also got a great game from a two-way player: Jennifer Petersen. She tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Petersen was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Bonners Ferry let Hailey Dickson and Jaydin Falck run wild. Dickson went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Falck went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Randi Hibbard, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Bonners Ferry pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.5 runs over those games. As for Timberlake, their record now sits at 11-2.
Friday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Timberlake has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .447. However, it's not like Bonners Ferry struggles in that department as they've averaged .558. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Timberlake took their win against Bonners Ferry in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
