Soccer Game Preview: Collinsville vs. Mountain Brook

Mountain Brook will be up against a hot Collinsville squad: the team just extended their winning streak to 11. Collinsville was the clear victors by a 6-2 margin over Geraldine on Wednesday. It was an even better day for Aaron Herrera as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mountain Brook, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on John Carroll Catholic with a sharp 7-1 win on Tuesday. With the Spartans ahead 4-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Collinsville pushed their record up to 12-1-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those seven games. As for Mountain Brook, their win bumped their record up to 11-3-1.
