Volleyball Recap: Hume Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Hume, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Kingsville Tigers on Saturday.

Hume not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Kingsville between 14 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14.

Baileigh Rogers paced Hume's offense, picking up six kills. Rogers got some help from Kenzee Snider and her five assists. Khloe Hubbard controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Hume now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Kingsville, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Hume will host Butler at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bears will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kingsville, they are taking a road trip to challenge Holden at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
