UCF commit Petras Padegimas banked home a 3-point shot as time expired to secure the 47-44 victory.

UCF commit Petras Padegimas channeled his best Christian Laettner impression Tuesday night when he knocked down a 3-point shot from the top of the key as time expired to give National Top 10 No. 8 DME Academy (Daytona Beach, Fla.) a 47-44 upset victory over No. 5 IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.).

DME Academy had just 0.9 seconds remaining on the clock as it inbounded the ball from under its own basket before heaving it to the opposing 3-point line where Padegimas received the pass and banked home the one-legged, game-winning shot to send his team into a frenzied celebration.
Padegimas' shot was eerily reminiscent of Christian Laettner's game-winning shot against Kentucky in the 1992 NCAA Tournament to send Duke to the Final Four.

DME Academy (22-4) secured its first win over a nationally-ranked opponent this season. IMG Academy (14-5) fell to 4-4 against nationally-ranked foes.

Baraka Okojie led the way with a game-high 18 points, three assists and two rebounds in the victory.
