Quincy had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Hingham Harbormen by a score of 57-46. Given the Presidents' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Harbormen are ranked 75th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Quincy's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Hingham, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quincy will square off against North Quincy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hingham, they are taking a road trip to challenge Duxbury at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
