There's no place like home for the Mansfield Timberview Wolves, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They snuck past Seguin with a 68-62 win on Tuesday. Given Mansfield Timberview's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Seguin is ranked 328th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Mansfield Timberview got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeremy Akharoh out in front who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Caleb Richard was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Mansfield Timberview's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-8.
