Volleyball Recap: Fairborn Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fairborn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Sidney Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-27, 25-14, 25-18.

Leading Sidney to victory were Ahniyah Wilson and Marly Coons. Wilson had 20 digs and six aces, while Coons had 21 assists and five digs. That's the most digs Coons has posted over her last six matchups.

Fairborn's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Sidney, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

Looking ahead, Fairborn will be playing in front of their home fans against Tippecanoe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sidney, they will challenge Piqua at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
