Basketball Recap: Cass City Comes Up Short

Cass City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 45-37 to the Bad Axe Hatchets. The Red Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hatchets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Cass City's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Bad Axe, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cass City will venture away from home to challenge Unionville-Sebewaing at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bad Axe, they will square off against Reese at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
