Baseball Recap: John Paul the Great Academy Takes a Loss

John Paul the Great Academy lost against Acadiana Christian back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The John Paul the Great Academy Guardians lost 20-2 to the Acadiana Christian Lions. The loss was the Guardians' first of the season.

John Paul the Great Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Guidry, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, John Paul the Great Academy fell to 2-1. As for Acadiana Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. John Paul the Great Academy will head out to face off against Faith Training Christian Academy on Friday. As for Acadiana Christian, they will take on Christian Home Educators Fellowship at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
