Lonoke not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 29, 2024. They blew past the Star City Bulldogs 19-6. The Jackrabbits' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Lonoke and bumps their season record up to 3-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Star City, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Lonoke will challenge Sylvan Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sylvan Hills will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Star City, they will square off against Crossett at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Star City has given up an average of 7.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
