After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Black River, Plymouth was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They blew past the Mt. Gilead Indians 3-0. For the Big Red, this counts as revenge for the   3-1 win the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in September of 2024.
 Plymouth walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18,  25-16.
 Presley Martin paced Plymouth's offense, picking up ten kills. Martin got some help from  Mya Stine and her 16 assists.  Lily Cook controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Plymouth moved to 2-6 with that  win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Mt. Gilead, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Plymouth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  loss against St. Paul on the 4th. As for Mt. Gilead, they have also already played their next game,  a  3-0  defeat against Fredericktown on the 3rd.
