Basketball Recap: Colonial Christian Comes Up Short at Home Against Calvary Christian

Colonial Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. The matchup between the Cougars and the Calvary Christian EAGLES didn't end well, with the Cougars falling 56-42. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Colonial Christian lost on Tuesday, don't look at Ronin Young. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 25 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Peter Miranelli, who posted nine points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Calvary Christian pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Colonial Christian will be playing at home against Indianapolis Northwest W at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Calvary Christian, they will challenge Tabernacle Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
