After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wooster, Canton Central Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Tuscarawas Valley Trojans as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Crusaders were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Trojans, so the Crusaders were just returning the favor.
Canton Central Catholic never let Tuscarawas Valley on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 26-24, 25-18.
Canton Central Catholic found their leader in sophomore Allison Vincente, who had nine digs.
Despite the loss, Tuscarawas Valley still got an impressive performance from Leah Howard, who had 18 digs.
