Basketball Recap: Columbia Adventist Academy Takes a Loss

Columbia Adventist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 60-44 bruising from the Naselle Comets. While losing is never fun, the Kodiaks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while the Comets are ranked 144th).

Columbia Adventist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Naselle, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Columbia Adventist Academy and Naselle's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Columbia Adventist Academy and Pe Ell (who has only given up 22.55 points per game) will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Naselle will square off against Mary M. Knight at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, a team that's only allowed 29.42 points per game.
