Lincoln Southwest entered their tilt with Fremont on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They breezed by the Fremont Tigers to the tune of 61-33. Given the Silver Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Tigers are ranked 165th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lincoln Southwest's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Fremont, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Lincoln Southwest will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Marian at 5:45 p.m. on February 4th. As for Fremont, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Norfolk at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
