Basketball Recap: Peebles Comes Up Short

Peebles suffered their biggest loss since December 23, 2024 on Monday. They came up short against the Fairfield Lions, falling 61-35. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

Peebles has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Fairfield, their win bumped their record up to 4-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peebles will face off against Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Peebles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fairfield, they will square off against Westfall at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
