Soccer Recap: Fort Lauderdale Takes a Loss

Fort Lauderdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Stoneman Douglas Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Flying L's have lost by exactly eight goals.

Fort Lauderdale's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10-1. As for Stoneman Douglas, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0-5.

Fort Lauderdale will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Everglades at 4:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Stoneman Douglas, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Stoneman Douglas duke it out with the Flanagan at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Flanagan will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Stoneman Douglas surely won't give up without a fight.
