Liberty Magnet extended their road winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Malek Robinson. The Liberty Magnet Patriots came out on top in a nail-biter against the Catholic - N.I. Panthers on Tuesday, sneaking past 60-57 thanks in part to Robinson, who dropped a double-double on ten assists and 11 steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last 18 games he's played dating back to last season.
The team also got some help courtesy of Jadon Williams, who posted eight points. That's the most points he has posted since back in February of 2024.
Liberty Magnet's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Catholic - N.I., they now have a losing record at 10-11.
Liberty Magnet will be playing at home against Peabody at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Catholic - N.I., a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Catholic - N.I. Panthers take on the Jeanerette Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
