Soccer Recap: Bartow Comes Up Short

Bartow was the 2-0 winner over Davenport when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Bartow Yellow Jackets fell just short of the Davenport Broncos by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Bartow's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Davenport, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4-2 record this season.

Bartow will be playing at home against Fort Meade at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Davenport, they will challenge Winter Haven at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Davenport is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
