Football Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Franklin lost against Celina back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions fell 33-22 to the Bobcats. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Bobcats are ranked 18th).

Franklin now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Celina, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will face off against Legacy School of Sport Sciences at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Celina, they will square off against Panther Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 7.5 points per game this season, so the Bobcats' offense will have their work cut out for them.
