Soccer Recap: Guilford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Guilford lost against Notre Dame on September 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Grizzlies came up short against the Green Knights, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Guilford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 70th, while Notre Dame are ranked fourth).

Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-3. As for Notre Dame, their win bumped their record up to 9-0-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Guilford will take on North Haven at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Haven will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Guilford surely won't give up without a fight. As for Notre Dame, they will challenge Career Magnet at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
