Baseball Game Preview: North Middlesex Regional Patriots vs. Marlborough Panthers

The North Middlesex Regional Patriots are taking a road trip to take on the Marlborough Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. North Middlesex Regional is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

North Middlesex Regional barely beat Lowell Catholic the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots blew past the Crusaders 13-5 on Thursday. Considering the Patriots have won four matchups by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Marlborough came up short against Nashoba Regional on Wednesday and fell 5-1. The Panthers have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

North Middlesex Regional's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Marlborough, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
