Football Game Preview: Marshall Cardinals vs. Poynette Pumas

While Marshall's victory against Fall River/Rio wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Cardinals made off with a 28-27 win over Fall River/Rio. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cardinals have posted since October 18, 2024.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Poynette, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Deerfield 37-6 on Friday. The Pumas might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 31 points or more this season.
