Volleyball Game Preview: Belmont Marauders vs. Winchester Red & Black

The Belmont Marauders are taking a road trip to face off against the Winchester Red & Black at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Belmont is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Two weeks ago, Belmont came up short against Arlington and fell 3-1.

Belmont started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-19, 25-17, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Winchester sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over St. John's Prep on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red & Black.

Belmont now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Winchester, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Belmont might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Winchester when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Marauders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
