Baseball Recap: Glide Wildcats vs. Coquille Red Devils
It was a good run, but Glide unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 5-2 to the Coquille Red Devils. Glide was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Coquille apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played on Tuesday.
Landon Allen was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
Glide's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Coquille, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.
Glide will stay at home for another game and welcome Brookings-Harbor at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coquille, they will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against North Valley at 3:00 p.m.
