If Arlington was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Grand Prairie on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Colts lost 3-0 to the Martin Warriors on Tuesday. The Colts' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

While Arlington was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Arlington saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Catherine Knowles had 12 digs and one assist.

Arlington's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 14-19. As for Martin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-16 record this season.
