Soccer Recap: Gar-Field Takes a Loss

Gar-Field was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Forest Park Bruins, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Gar-Field can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 319th, while Forest Park are ranked 150th).

Gar-Field's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Forest Park, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Looking ahead, Gar-Field will welcome Charles J. Colgan at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Charles J. Colgan will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Gar-Field surely won't give up without a fight. As for Forest Park, they will challenge Freedom at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
