Basketball Game Preview: North Forney Falcons vs. Rockwall Yellowjackets

North Forney is 1-8 against Rockwall since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The North Forney Falcons will face off against the Rockwall Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. North Forney is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, North Forney beat Longview 61-57. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Falcons' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 356th, while the Lobos are ranked 128th).

Meanwhile, after only 25 points in their last matchup, Rockwall made sure to put some points up on the board against Rockwall-Heath on Friday. Rockwall blew past Rockwall-Heath 69-41. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Yellowjackets just coasted through the last quarter.

Rockwall pushed their record up to 21-12 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.1 points per game. As for North Forney, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-14 record this season.

North Forney couldn't quite finish off Rockwall when the teams last played back in January and fell 46-43. Can North Forney avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
