Baseball Recap: Clark Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Clark's offense. They came up short against the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions on Friday, falling 14-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 10, 2018, but that streak is no more.

Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Sierra Vista, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clark will venture away from home to challenge Southeast Career Tech at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Roadrunners will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sierra Vista, they will head out to square off against Del Sol at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Mountain Lions are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
