Clear Fork is 9-1 against Pleasant since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Colts will welcome the Spartans at 5:15 p.m. Clear Fork hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

On Monday, Clear Fork didn't have quite enough to beat Hillsdale and fell 3-2.

Miley Shafer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits. Those hits were her first of the season.

On the hitting side, Mya Perry made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Hailly Thrush was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Pleasant came into Friday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over Elgin on Friday.

Pleasant's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Clear Fork, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Clear Fork skirted past Pleasant 11-9 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Colts repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
