Baseball Recap: Blissfield Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Blissfield's offense. They came up short against the Tecumseh Indians on Saturday, falling 9-0. The Royals' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Blissfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Tecumseh, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-8-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blissfield will host Madison at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Royals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. As for Tecumseh, they will be playing at home against Ypsilanti at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Grizzlies have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.5 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of.
