Basketball Recap: Kingston Comes Up Short

Kingston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Warwick Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 317th, while the Wildcats are ranked 61st).

Kingston's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Warwick, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.

Kingston will host Monroe-Woodbury at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Warwick, they will take on Cornwall Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
