Dougherty Valley took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Amador Valley 18-8.

Dougherty Valley got a massive performance out of Marissa Lee, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and two RBI. Those three hits gave Lee a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Marisa Rhee, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.
