Soccer Game Preview: Treasure Coast vs. Centennial

The Treasure Coast Titans will challenge the Centennial Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Treasure Coast is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over Jensen Beach on Tuesday. Deanna Romero was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Centennial had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They never let the Brahmans onto the board and left with a 6-0 win. The Eagles' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matches.

Centennial pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six games. As for Treasure Coast, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4-4 record this season.

Treasure Coast took their win against Centennial in their previous meeting back in November of 2023 by a conclusive 7-1. Will Treasure Coast repeat their success, or does Centennial have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
